Juan Diego Rivas

Capital Region Integration Network Coordinator

One of his main accomplishments was helping international students find employment while being a student himself. He was able to pass the tips and tricks he learned on the job market, networking, and resume-building

What inspired him to jump into this role was his drive to help newcomers achieve their success. He faced many challenges when navigating his new home in the Capital Region, as a newcomer himself. Now you can find him using his experience to collaborate and partner with organizations and stakeholders to make the region more welcoming to all newcomers.

Outside of work, Juan Diego is still a child at heart. He loves collecting and building Lego sets, playing video games, and making friendships over local football matches.
