Filipino Cultural Gala: Roots And Horizons
June is Philippine Heritage Month, and this year marks the 11th Cultural Gala! This annual celebration is a wonderful occasion for us to come together and honor the rich tapestry of our culture. The theme for this year's event is “Roots and Horizon: Our Shared Heritage, Our Collective Future.”
Through music and cultural dance, we aim to unite generations—both young and old—who contribute to shaping a collective future for years to come. We have planned an array of performances that highlight various aspects of our culture, allowing everyone to experience the vibrancy and diversity that we have to offer. The performers will include local artists who have dedicated their time to preserving our traditions, as well as younger talents who are drawing inspiration from our history to create modern expressions of art.

These stories reflect the lived experiences of people who have bridged cultures, overcome challenges, and found belonging in new places. Through open dialogue and storytelling, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the resilience and richness within our community.

River Rhythms: A Wabanaki Celebration of Art and Music

Canada Day - Tracy 2026
Join us in Tracy for a full day of Canada Day fun, beginning with a lively parade and continuing with great entertainment, music, free games for kids, and an all-day BBQ the whole family can enjoy. It’s a celebration packed with community spirit, delicious food, and activities for all ages, topped off with one of the best fireworks shows around which will be even bigger and better this year!

Celebrate Canada Day the way it was meant to be: outdoors, together, and surrounded by the history and traditions that built this country.
Canada Day - Oromocto 2026
In 2026, the town of Oromocto, New Brunswick, will celebrate Canada Day with a full day of family-friendly festivities at Sir Douglas Hazen Park. Beginning at 11am on July 1, residents and visitors can enjoy activities, midway rides, vendors, and live entertainment, along with the annual Canada Day parade in support of the Oromocto Food Bank, encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable donations. Official Canada Day ceremonies will begin at 12:30pm, followed by a lineup of local musical entertainment throughout the afternoon and evening, featuring performances by Acoustic Rewind, The Town Cats, The Wise Guys, and The Mix with Carlin Fraser. The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display at dusk, bringing the community together to celebrate Canada’s birthday.
Canada Day - New Maryland 2026
The Village of New Maryland, New Brunswick, will celebrate Canada Day 2026 with an afternoon of community spirit, family fun, and patriotic pride. Taking place on Wednesday, July 1, from 1pm to 3pm at the New Maryland Centre, the celebration will feature a community BBQ, live music, and a variety of activities for all ages. Residents and visitors are invited to gather with family, friends, and neighbours to enjoy the festivities and celebrate Canada’s birthday in a welcoming and festive atmosphere.
Welamukotuk (Oromocto First Nation) Powwow
Come out and support the Oromocto First Nation Powwow. Enjoy over 40 vendors, dancing, drumming and singing. Everyone is welcome!
Fierté Fredericton Pride Parade & Festival 2026
Celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at the 2026 Fierté Fredericton Pride Parade! The parade will start at Officer's Square and make its way along Queen Street.
After the parade be sure to check out the Pride Week Kick Off Party back in Officer's Square with face painting, live music, family-friendly drag performances, as well as community booths!

Chariot Fest 2026 | Parade
Join us at Chariot Fest 2026 for a fun parade, vibrant culture, and a free veggie feast!
Chariot Fest Fredericton 2026 is a vibrant cultural festival that brings the community together for a full day of music, food, and celebration.
The event begins in downtown Fredericton with a grand chariot parade starting from Carleton Street, where participants gather to decorate a 35 ft chariot before it moves through the city. The celebration continues at the Fredericton Capital Exhibit Centre with cultural performances, live music, and interactive activities for all ages.
You can enjoy a variety of experiences:

United Colors of Fashion – Fall Fashion Festival
The UCOF Fall Fashion Festival is a dynamic celebration of culture, fashion, and storytelling taking place in Dieppe, Fredericton and Saint John, New Brunswick this September, and Halifax in October.
The 2026 show theme, From Roots to Runway: Designing Belonging, was chosen to highlight inclusion and community building. Through vibrant runway showcases, youth-led performances, music, and art, the festival explores how our heritage, migration journeys, and personal stories weave together to shape identity. Latin Arts Festival
The Fredericton Latin Community will launch its inaugural showcase of Latin-Canadian music, dance, arts, and culinary traditions. Live performances by local and regional artists, cultural market with Latin artisans, entrepreneurs, and traditional foods. Educational activities will share the history of Cinco de Mayo and celebrate the diversity of Latin heritage.
