Fredericton’s Halal Food Fundraiser

Organized by Manarat Fredericton Inc., this fundraiser helps fund humanitarian aid and in our local community in Fredericton. LEARN MORE HERE.

Why visit the fundraiser?

  • Enjoy authentic Eastern favourites

  • Support local chefs, mostly women who have been preparing meals for the fundraiser throughout the past year, 2024 and 2025. In the first six editions, they generously donated 100% of their sales. Starting from the seventh edition in 2025, participants are allowed to donate between 25% and 100% of their sales to the fundraiser.

  • Halal Food Fundraiser donated %10 of its returns in December 2024 to Greener Village and %10 in May 2025 to Fredericton Homeless Shelters.

The Old Age Security (OAS) pension is a monthly payment you can get if you are 65 and older. The Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) is a monthly payment you can get if you are 65 or older.
